Sample specifications
  • 11 blind chilean students
  • First and second grade level
  • 7-12 years old
  • The specific characteristics are diverse
    • some of them live in the school (internship), others live in their homes
    • the sample is mainly conformed by students with residual vision
    • 6 children have useful residual vision that enables them to interact with the interface y localized visually the keyboard
    • three of them even with residual vision cannot be count because the can see only colors, light and shadow
    • 2 children have multideficit with mental disorders, autism and spasm hemiplegy
  • Students come from economically poor and socially depressive neighborhoods
